The Mississippi Gaming Commission has given approval to Cure Land Co to build a casino at Lakeshore, less than two miles from Full House Resorts Silver Slipper, its Gulf Coast tenant.
The casino, which could be built soon, would also be near Penn National’s Hollywood Casino in Bay St Louis. Cure, a major Hancock County landowner, is also building The Pearl Hotel, a 59-room luxury boutique hotel in Bay St Louis.
Cure’s casino would have 1,100 slots, 22 table games and a 300-room hotel.
