With just a month to go before the big NIGA (National Indian Gaming Association) trade show in Las Vegas, Merkur Gaming of Germany has released news of a big line-up of fresh games designed for the Indian market.

The North Halls of the Convention Centre in Las Vegas will house the Merkur display that is largely the work of Sunshine Games, also based in Las Vegas. The sister company to Merkur Gaming US, Sunshine has just completed its first full year in business and is headed by industry veteran Mike Halvorson, who has put together a team of gaming professionals.

Sunshine Games took just nine months to produce its first games, the first two of which, Taco Tuesday and Amulet of the Pharaoh, were previewed at last year’s G2E show. Other new games in the range come from High 5 Gaming. The picture shows Charles Hiten (left), managing director of Merkur Gaming Americas, with Mike Halvorson.
