She has been recognised by Global Gaming Business magazine and The Innovation Group as one of the most significantly impactful gaming industry professionals under the age of 40.

Bates’ 15-year career at Konami has evidenced an unmistakable expertise in forging meaningful business partnerships in some of the world’s most competitive casino markets.

In addition to her senior leadership position at Konami, Bates is on the board of Global Gaming Women and is currently serving as the organisation’s vice president and mentorship committee co-chair.

“The leadership demonstrated by Lauren Bates is characterised by committed partnership, genuine mentorship and skilled ambition,” said Tom Jingoli, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Konami.

“Her contributions have been an instrumental factor in Konami’s growth success and her positive influence continues expanding out to the broader industry through work with casino operators, strategic partners and charitable organisations such as Global Gaming Women.”
