Intercard, the US-based debit card technology specialist, has completed a second installation for Ultrastar, located at Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino and Hotel in Murphy, North Carolina.
The site combines a casino with amusement in what Ultrastar is calling it Multi-tainment Centre.
The 41,000sq.ft centre includes 16 lanes of bowling, an arcade, a restaurant, a sports lounge and private party rooms. The 2,000sq.ft arcade features 25 of the latest games and a cashless redemption centre serviced by Intercard technology.
"Intercard's equipment has been very reliable, the kiosk interfaces work very well and have been easy for the team," said Adam Saks, president and COO of UltraStar Multi-tainment Centers.
Ultrastar aims to open several more similar centres in the next year. "Multiple venues of entertainment all under one roof is what people are looking for right now," said Saks.
