IGT renews lottery deal

The partnership with the lottery has been in existence since 1986. The California lottery is the second largest in the US, generating around $91bn in sales and contributing $31bn to public education.

IGT’s Aurora Navigator back-office suite is a vital part of the new platform being supplied by IGT and OpenRetail, a new software solution architecture will allow the lottery to use single terminal applications. Also included is Performance Wizard, a solution for analytics and business intelligence.

The deal will also see the Lottery receive 19,000 Altura GT1200 Flex retailer terminals and IGT’s Ticket-Scan Plus ticket checkers.
