IGT has reported total 2017 revenues of US$4.9bn, five per cent less than in 2016 ($5.15bn).

However, it is a result that the company considers positive, since improvement took place progressively throughout the period, in addition to achieving “a robust performance in the lottery segment, improving the results in the gaming segment and reinforcing our cost management broken down,” said CEO Marco Sala. “Our gaming business made considerable progress during 2017. We brought compelling new products to the market during the year, including six new game cabinets.”

Likewise, he affirmed that the company expects that “the tendency to continue the results of IGT 2017 represents a combination of dynamics that characterise our performance in the coming years.”

The results, according to the CEO, “have established a solid base for our continued growth in 2018, which we trust will continue to create value for our shareholders.”
