The last ICE Totally Gaming show to take place at Earls Court prior to its 2013 move to ExCeL is set to be one of the most memorable on record, according to figures released by organisers Clarion Events.

The latest data includes a series of upbeat indicators including pre-registrations more than four per cent ahead of 2011, bookings for the ICE Conferences programme tracking 21 per cent above last year’s figure and a 25 per cent uplift in the number of representatives attending the ICE Regulators’ Lunch, held each year at show.

The week-long celebrations will get off to a positive and optimistic start with around 300 gaming industry leaders and their guests attending the first Totally Gaming Awards presentation, which recognises innovation, achievement and best practice across 12 unique gaming categories.

Kate Chambers, portfolio director responsible for ICE Totally Gaming, said: “With more exhibitors from more countries launching an estimated 5,000 new products and occupying over 20,000sq.m of stand space at ICE 2012, the scene is set for the gaming industry to bid farewell to Earls Court in style. Leaving Earls Court will certainly be a period for reflection as the industry remembers all of the huge personalities to have walked the aisles, the ground-breaking, defining products that have been launched there, the meetings, the debates and, of course, the laughter and good times the gaming industry generates.

“The positive news is the next chapter for ICE is even better as we move into a purpose-built exhibition venue at ExCeL. ExCeL was built for dynamic, progressive and exciting events like ICE Totally Gaming and expect the show to flourish as we collectively work to take it to the next level.”
