An official opening ceremony to celebrate enhancements made to the Great Cedar Casino at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, US, was held on Thursday.
Mashantucket Pequot tribal chairman Michael Thomas, gaming entertainment enterprise president Michael Speller and members of the tribal council joined tribal elders at the event.
The improvements made to the casino include the addition of enhanced gaming options, such as 24 new table games – two roulette tables, three three-card poker tables, four mini-baccarat tables, two Spanish 21 games, three Pai Gow poker games, and 10 blackjack tables.
“These additions are yet another example of our ongoing effort to provide our loyal patrons with all the amenities associated with the best resort casino on the east coast,” Speller said. “Our goal is to continue to offer new and improved entertainment options that enhance the Foxwoods experience while providing the best service possible.”
