Global revenues up despite weak Europe

Global gambling revenues rose in 2012 despite a weak performance in Europe, according to Global Betting and Gaming Consultants.

Global revenues rose by around two per cent to US$430bn. Asia’s gambling revenues rose to $135bn, an increase of five per cent over 2011.

Asia now accounts for 32 per cent of global gambling revenues.
