Gaming Laboratories International has again been named Best Laboratory in the SAGSE LatAm awards for the second year in a row.

Additionally, GLI’s vice president of Latin America and the Caribbean, Karen Sierra-Hughes, was also named again as one of the top five leaders in the land-based gaming industry and one of the top five leaders in the online gaming industry. In 2020, GLI was named Best Laboratory in the SAGSE LatAm, SAGSE Europe and SAGSE USA awards.
“It is an incredible honour to have our industry peers recognise the hard work of our global teams in naming GLI Best Laboratory," said GLI president/CEO James Maida. "We are proud of the passion and dedication of each of our team members.
"We are especially proud of Karen for being named a top leader in both the land-based industry and online gaming categories and of the Latin American and Caribbean team for the work they do to help the region’s industry embrace change and continually move forward.”
“We are grateful to the Latin American industry for recognising GLI in this manner - it is incredibly meaningful as it is the result of the direct vote of our gaming community itself,” said Sierra-Hughes.
“We are also thankful to the SAGSE LatAm organisation for continuing to create opportunities to engage and solidify a positive and collaborative environment that’s helping us all grow, evolve and succeed in both challenging and prosperous times.”
GLI has been intimately involved in the Latin American and Caribbean gaming industries for almost 25 years. Recently, the company further deepened its commitment to the region’s established and emerging sectors by naming Valter Delfraro Jnr to its Latin America and Caribbean team to spearhead the company’s efforts in Brazil.
