A new casino has been opened in Djibouti by Games World International, which has a head office in the United Arab Emirates.
The company is headed by Tani Hanna, who is well known in the gaming industry and who has now set up an office in Dubai. Hanna led a small group of top executives from his organisation to the London ICE Totally Gaming show and told us: “Games World is going more international. The office in Dubai will co-ordinate the activities of all of our casinos in Africa.
“The new location in Djibouti is the latest one in a growing string of casinos across the continent. We have others in Liberia, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea. Between them our locations now have 270 staff.” Three locations have live gaming and two more will open this year. Hanna intends to open two more in 2014, bringing the group to seven live gaming casinos and a further seven slots arcades.
