Adam Hodges, one of the original founders of Game Nation, will step down as CEO. During his five years at the helm, Hodges was responsible for building the brand. He led the company through Covid, the cost-of-living crisis and more recently streamlined its portfolio of shops.

Ulrik Bengtsson, chairman of City Gaming, said: “The board would like to take the opportunity to thank Adam as he has played an important role in the company's success over the past years. The board feels the time is right for new leadership and is confident in appointing Mark Jepp who, with his operational and hospitality mindset combined with vast machines experience, is well equipped to lead the company going forward.”

Jepp moves from Mecca Bingo, where he was slots director and prior to that he was managing director of Majestic Bingo. He has also held roles at Ladbrokes and Gala Bingo.
