The newest resort on the Las Vegas Strip, Fontainebleau, is being investigated by Nevada’s gaming regulators, according to reports.

The investigation centres around the alleged issuance of credit to gamblers which may have violated anti-money laundering practices, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The matter came to light as Maurice Wooden, president of the resort, attended a licensing hearing at a Nevada Gaming Commission meeting on Thursday, May 22.
"We have in our materials that there's an investigation ongoing with respect to the credit practices not being followed, which could have potential Title 31 and AML (anti-money laundering) implications," said commissioner Rosa Solis-Rainey.
Wooden denied knowledge of the incident to which Solis-Rainey was referring.
