Next week will see the complete amusement and gaming experience hit London’s ExCeL when EAG opens its doors with the addition of the separate London Casino and Gaming show.
The exhibits are now complemented by a wealth of backing from organisations, trade associations and sector-specific groupings to enhance the experience for the UK and European operators.
From a live dealer’s championship on the show floor to a VIP casino networking event at Lola’s Bar in the prestigious Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square, to a more general one across all of the participating disciplines of the show at the Waterfront Street Kitchen & Bar at ExCeL itself, the week is building up to an irresistible attraction for the industry.
“EAG was and always will be the most important trade show for the entire UK land-based gaming sector,” said Sascha Blodau, general manager Merkur UK, the parent company of Blueprint Operations this week. Blodau’s company was one of the first to sign up for the new London casino event.
The EAG networking event at the Waterfront will also see a farewell to outgoing EAG chairman Martin Burlin and announcement of the winners in Bacta’s Annual Awards. The following day, there will be a meeting of the Betting & Gaming Council’s casino group beginning at 2pm following lunch.
Wednesday afternoon at 4pm will also see a webinar in the North Gallery Room 9, by the International Association of Gaming Advisors. It will comprise an address by Andrew Rhodes, CEO of the Gambling Commission and a panel which will discuss the UK Government’s white paper and the future direction of British gambling reform.
In his last year as EAG chairman, Burlin wrapped up the prospects for next week with: “We’ve got it all, the most complete boutique show for the international casino industry as part of a wider amusements and gaming experience.”
