Victoria Gate Casino in Leeds, the largest casino in the north of the UK, has made its third major appointment, naming John Davies as head of food and beverage.
Davies, who has been in the food and drink industry for more than 25 years at venues across the UK and Europe, is leading the food and beverage elements at the multi-million pound entertainment and gaming destination, which opens tomorrow. He is one of more than 200 staff to be employed at the new “super casino,” which will be the third-largest casino in the UK. Before joining Global Gaming Ventures, the operator of Victoria Gate Casino, Davies worked for hotel groups such as InterContinental, Marriott and Principal Hayley across the UK and Europe.
