MGM Mirage's CityCenter project will not be impacted by Dubai World's restructuring, the company has said.

Dubai World’s creditors have been asked to agree to a freeze on its debts as part of the restructuring process, but MGM said funding for the Las Vegas project had already been secured.

“CityCenter is fully funded, on schedule and ready to begin welcoming guests starting next week. Our joint venture is unaffected by Dubai World’s announcement,” a spokeswoman for MGM told Reuters.
