A Macau entrepreneur who has a patent dispute with SHFL entertainment is attempting to further the interests of local equipment suppliers.

Jay Chun, the head of LT Games, has formed the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association and has announced that the organisation should consider creating a testing lab in competition with GLI and BMM.

LT Games’ parent is Paradise Entertainment, a Hong Kong-listed company that also has Casino Kam Pek in Macau, operated by SJM. The casino has 36 table games, 600 live multi-table seats and 300 slot machines.

LT Games provides a variety of products including slot machines, slot systems and e-tables. The company recently opened an office in Las Vegas as its base for expanding into North America.
