Century Casinos opened the first casino above a TUI Cruises cruise ship on May 23. This was also the first day of the maiden voyage of the luxurious four-star plus ship with a total of 962 cabins for over 1,900 passengers and 780 crew members.
In addition to an exquisite lounge and bar area, casino guests can enjoy 31 slot machines and five gambling tables offering American roulette, blackjack and poker.
On November 24, 2008, Century entered into an exclusive long-term agreement with TUI Cruises, under which the company will operate the casinos on all cruise ships that TUI places into service before December 31, 2012.
