Century Casinos, which has 10 venues in North America and eight Casinos Poland locations, is buying 50 per cent of Smooth Bourbon and 100 per cent of Nugget Sparks from Marnell Gaming for $195m.
Century will have a five-year option to buy the remaining half of the Smooth Bourbon shares for $105m. Smooth Bourbon is part of PropCo, owner of the property at the Nugget in Sparks, Nevada.
The location is close to the city of Reno and has a gaming floor, two hotel towers, 110,000sq.ft of convention space and an outdoor amphitheatre. The casino has 859 slots, 29 table games and 1,382 hotel rooms.
