Century Casinos has entered into an exclusive agreement with TUI Cruises to operate the casinos on all cruise ships that TUI Cruises will put into service before December 31, 2012.
In May 2009, the first vessel of the new TUI Cruises fleet will start passenger cruises. The generous four-star plus ship can accommodate up to 1,948 passengers and 780 crew members on 13 decks. Almost half of the 974 cabins are equipped with spacious balconies or patios.
Furthermore, the vessel offers 10 themed restaurants and bistros, 10 bars, numerous sun and pool decks, a wellness and spa centre, a conference centre and a theatre.
The casino blend in with the overall concept of TUI Cruises. In addition to the casino games, a broad range of drinks will be offered, as well as live music and an outdoor smoking area.
In total, three vessels are planned before the end of 2012. TUI Cruises is the new cruise brand for the German-speaking world. It is a joint venture of TUI AG and the US shipping company Royal Caribbean Cruises.
