A casino and entertainment complex is one of three schemes being considered for a site in the US city of Chicago.
The idea would be to build an entertainment centre, casino and hotel on the north end of the former Michael Reese Hospital site to boost offerings for conventioneers and tourists.
The central portion of the site is envisioned as a town centre, with retail development, community meeting spaces and perhaps educational institutions. The idea is that it would act as a buffer to the southern portion of the site, which potentially could house an Obama library and additional residential development.
