Serbia's newest gaming venue, Casino Belgrade will open on June 30 as part of the Yugoslavia Hotel.

The casino, which is currently 2,000sq.m in size, will be extended to a total of 9,000sq.m by the end of October, and will have cost €60m.

Belgrade-based Grand Casino Company paid €18m for a license to operate in the Serbian capital.

The company’s majority owner is Casino Austria, which holds a 51 per cent stake, and the Serbian State Lottery holds 10 per cent.
