The dispute has now descended into a family row, with Okada’s son, Tomohiro, ordering his father to vacate the premises, according to Fantini’s Gaming Report. Tomohiro controls over half of Okada Holdings.

In the confusing legal battle over the ownership of the resort, Filipino president Jun Fujimoto has accused Okada of holding back information from the country’s Supreme Court and has urged the court to reverse the order that restored the board of Tiger Resort to its 2017 composition, a decision that led to the takeover by Okada.
