Atronic Systems, the systems arm of Atronic International launched a completely new casino floor network at IGE.

Atronic International managing director Thierry Aiglon told a press conference at the show: "When Atronic acquired MIS six years ago to form Atronic Systems, we made sure the hardware and software was reliable and retained the customer base.

"We added new modules and came up with a new platform and hardware. In the meantime we have won a lot of market share but recently we felt the time was right to introduce another new platform. That new platform is here now. We have been listening to operators and the result is Crystal.net."

Atronic’s Simon Dorsen went into the technical detail. "The demands on a casino management system are much greater than they used to be. We have listened really hard to our customers and it became clear that a priority is for operators to keep players, especially first time players. This system helps them to do that - and at a reasonable price."

Crystal.net is the evolution of the older CrystalWeb system. "Operators can migrate easily from one to the other," said Dorsen. "The new system delivers what operators want in today’s market. We believe it is the most powerful mobile device in the industry and that it is as future proof as possible. The road map includes both sports betting and server-based gaming."

It was also revealed that an order from one of the world’s leading operators would be announced soon. "It is a very powerful system," added Dorsen. "Its touchscreen is the most advanced on the market - operators wanted the capacity to design the screen the way they want."

Sports events can be relayed on the screen and customers can order drinks using it. "It’s all about streamlining for operators. There is a unique feature that operators can use to increase loyalty. It allows them to grab and secure players and increase play time."

Atronic has also aimed for a seamless upgrade. "We didn’t want operators to have to change servers or cabling. There’s no need to change the hardware. As for the player, the machine recognises nationality, favourite drink, etc. It is completely customised."
