A second award inside a month for trade show organiser Clarion Gaming (ICE, ICE Africa, etc) when Sports Betting USA was named among the top three new conference launches of the year.

It came at the Conference Awards, a gathering for professional organisers of conferences in the UK and follows Clarion’s naming as “Most Influential Company of the last 25 Years”, announced at the AEO Excellence awards last month.

Clarion’s event director, Rory Credland, said: “This is a tribute to the team responsible for firstly identifying the opportunity for a sports betting conference in the US way ahead of the curve and then delivering a really successful debut event which has provided us with a platform to transition into ICE Sports Betting USA which will take place across November 27-28 at Convene, New York. “Our decision to make this into an ICE branded event reflects how important the market is for our stakeholders. ICE is the only international event brand that resonates with and is trusted by the gambling industry across all verticals, a quality that enables us to bring together regulators, sports associations, land-based casino operators, online gaming brands and technology providers.

“Added to this, Clarion Gaming is recognised in the Americas for delivering professional and well organised events based on a long track record dating back to the first editions of GiGse and more recently the launch of the LatAm facing Juegos Miami.

“Interest in the first ICE Sports Betting USA has been phenomenal, with many of the sponsorship opportunities already contracted. I am confident ICE Sports Betting USA will reflect the energy and focus shown by the industry post PASPA and help attendees to dissect the extremely serious business of sport.”
