A new casino opening soon in Accra, Ghana, called Casino Royale, is likely to be the city’s largest casino, offering a range of tables and slot machines.
Located in the centre of Accra, the casino has a surveillance system designed and delivered by Andromica Video Systems, the UK’s longest established surveillance provider. The system incorporates the latest digital IP cameras, up to three megapixels on the tables and other critical areas, together with audio recording where appropriate. Fully digital recording allows up to 30 days of archive and the system monitoring is available off-site using a secure, encrypted transmission system.
Pre-configuration of the IP system has dramatically reduced the installation time, a useful cost saving. It also confirms the system design prior to leaving the factory. Andromica is also providing the background music system, using a hard disk system that also incorporates an announcement system.
Ghana is an emerging market in the leisure market and the new casino will be a welcome addition to the vibrant nightlife that exists in Accra.
