Andromica Video Systems has been chosen to upgrade the surveillance system at the Marriott Casino in Goa, India.
The existing system will be completely replaced by Andromica together with a local partner with a fully digital system using Wavestore recording systems for the table games, cash desks and reception and a locally sourced recorder for the slots, etc.
Michael Bird, Andromica’s managing director, said: “We have been working on projects in Goa for some years now and this result is a great boost, not only for this company but for all local casinos that will now be able to see the benefits of a fully professional system, these being improved profit margins and safer games for both operator and customer.”
Andromica is the longest established supplier of surveillance systems for casinos worldwide and goes back to 1976 when it was called Andromica (TV). The company has continued its programme of research and development and expects to showcase a radical advance at the ICE show in London in January.
