The tiny Pyrenees state of Andorra is preparing a gaming law and planning to open a casino next year.

The country’s government has set up the Gaming Control Board Andorran, which will issue a casino licence in the first half of 2014. The location is expected to be in the central business district and the casino will be expected to provide a theatre on-site.

A number of international operators have already been involved in talks with government officials.
