Las Vegas Sands CEO Sheldon Adelson might not be developing a strip of casinos in Madrid, but he’s still interested in Europe.

Adelson says that he will look at each of the major cities of Europe to see if they want an integrated resort, as in the model adopted in Singapore, and that he expects may be adopted in other Asian countries, such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.

LVS recently dropped plans for a $30bn multi-property EuroVegas in Madrid when it couldn’t get commitments for certain regulatory changes, such as an exemption from the country’s smoking ban.
