A $13.5bn mega resort with a casino is planned by Cora Alpha for Extremadura, an autonomous region of Spain, Extremadura 7 Dias reported.
The first phase of Elysium City would be finished in 2023 with the second in 2028. The project includes a casino, 3,000 hotel rooms, a golf course, theme park and 40,000-seat stadium.
Former Disney VP John Cora is proposing the resort he likened to Disneyland saying no one believed the project or knew where it would be located but it is now known by the whole world.
