Some businesses start out with pluck and ambition but little experience, leaving the owners to find their feet over time.
However, when Century Casinos was first established in 1992, founders Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger had already developed and operated more than 100 casinos in 20 different countries and on cruise ships for European casino companies. The company could not have been in safer hands.
