European casinos have been cashless for years.
IT was back in late June that the Nevada Gaming Commission approved amendments to regulations on cashless gaming systems that were widely regarded as the first step towards revolutionising financial transactions in casinos.
“Revolutionising” suggests something totally new and ground-breaking. In fact, the commission - and Vegas casinos - were evidently unaware that cashless gaming has been a feature of casinos in Europe for many years.
