In the dynamic landscape of the gaming industry, evolution is key. While the online gaming market continues to thrive, the allure of the tactile experience of playing on physical machines has proved it simply cannot be replaced. And whilst the two could seem to have a conflict of interests and compete to gain customer share, a recent EKG study shows that online gaming has, in fact, had a positive impact on land-based gross gaming revenues.

Land-based gaming - traditionally associated with brick-and-mortar casinos, and the street or route market – has, despite fears, seen a huge resurgence post pandemic. Players have been drawn back to the excitement of being in a bustling casino or alternative gaming environment and the thrill of physically interacting with games.
