All-change for Europe's premier gaming show

All-change for ICE All-change for ICE

It’s all change this year for ICE Totally Gaming, due to take place from February 5-7 at ExCel, London. It’s a change of venue from the familiar Earls Court in the west of the city to the more modern venue in the docklands to the east. And it’s a change of time from the usual last week in January to the first week in February.

The timing shouldn’t make much difference; it is the change of venue which will be most felt by both exhibitors and visitors. The downside is that Earls Court is in the centre of things while ExCel involves a journey east from London’s highlights.

However, the advantage of ExCel is that it has much more room and better facilities. Thus the move has enabled ICE Totally Gaming to expand and officially become the world’s largest gaming expo. I am sure the outcome will be beneficial for the event. It had outgrown Earls Court and a larger, more modern venue had become a must-have.
