There is a rumour that UK-based children's ride manufacturer Rainbow Rides is currently in talks with a larger amusement company regarding its buyout for an undisclosed sum.
Geoffrey Hunt, managing director of Rainbow Rides, told InterGame: "We have been in discussions with a company for many months but it would seem we are now close to a deal. The buyout will bring more investment and enable the company to enter new markets, raising our profile."
The deal will see Hunt, who at the same time has had designs for new rides accepted by another children’s ride manufacturer that will be launched in January next year, taken on as a consultant for the next two years.
