The funeral of Gerry Bowyer, for many years a major figure in the UK coin machine industry who died last week aged 83, will be held on Thursday, May 6.

It is expected that many people from the amusement industry will attend to pay their respects to Gerry, who began his career in the industry in the 1960s and worked with some of the biggest names in the business over a long career, ending with Electrocoin.

The funeral will begin at noon at the East Chapel, Medway Crematorium ME5 9QU, in Sussex.

Family flowers only are requested with donations in lieu of flowers to Diabetics UK, and sent to The Co-op Funeral Directors, 51 South Street, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN21 4SL.
