General manager Justin Burke is a seasoned exhibitor at the event, supporting every one to date: “We’ve attended every EAG International since its inception and will be using the expo not only to showcase products launched at IAAPA, but also some additional new innovations.

"At Sega Amusements, research and development is a constant and core activity, so there are often exclusive launches at the London show.”

Sega Amusements is a multi-faceted business engaged in the development and manufacture of original licensed products and in-house merchandise. In keeping with Sega’s service ethic, the support, service and parts division of the business takes high priority. Indeed, the company has earned third-party distribution agreements with leading manufacturers, including ICE and Pan Amusements.

Burke revealed that more than 30 staff will be in attendance at the company’s stand at EAG.

“It’s important that we show our support and commitment to the trade,” he said. “However, we do see our presence at EAG as a way of finding new customers as with all of the 50 or so shows we do annually.”

Visitors to the Sega stand will experience a variety of all the latest releases. Premiering in the UK will be Dream Raiders, a two-seat full motion adventure game. Players are invited to choose their dream experience from a selection of nine and then to raid as much treasure as possible, while fending off strange and incredible creatures with their Dream Blaster weapons. The game features a 55ins plasma plate screen and special effects, such as wind and weapon feedback.

Also making their UK debut will be Pirates of Monster Island, Sega’s latest video ticket redemption game, and the new skill testing Key Master In Colour range.

“There will be more new product on display, with details being revealed closer to the show,” added Burke.
