Timezone game purchases exceed US$14m in 2011

In 2011 alone, Timezone has invested in excess of US$14m in game purchases and opened 27 new locations, taking its operations in the Australasian region to 228 FECs.

The new store openings have covered areas such as Singapore, India and Australia and in line with Timezone's vision to be the most distinct and preferred interactive entertainment option in the market it operates, there are plans to open even more new locations in 2012.

Timezone Group's CEO Sonaal Chopra commented: "There are certainly a lot of opportunities in the markets we operate and I am pleased with the pace of new Timezone store openings in 2011. The year 2012 is going to be another year of good growth for us. We are geared up for some major buying and constantly looking out for promising product."
