SuzoHapp was very much part of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the adaptation of banknote handling, ticketing machines, vending and authentication devices for the new €20 bill, which took place last week at the European Central Bank.

Colombo Fasano, CEO at Scan Coin, a SuzoHapp company and supplier of cash management systems, was a signatory on behalf of the group. The MoU is intended to ensure that bill handling equipment across the eurozone is ready for the new banknote by November 25 of this year, when it enters circulation.

The SuzoHapp group, which also includes Comestero, will provide customers with the necessary software and hardware updates to handle the new bill.
