James Anderson has been promoted to sales and commercial director for Bandai Namco Amusement Europe.

Managing director John McKenzie said that Anderson was an obvious choice: “Despite being relatively young, James has earned a great deal of respect from around the industry.

“He has proven his credentials during the past few years by developing the prize business. His knowledge and ability is matched by his enthusiasm for our business.”

Anderson will head up the amusements division at Bandai Namco, which comprises the game and prize businesses. He started with the company five years ago and has become well known within the industry. Anderson identified the importance of branded goods and spearheaded a drive into that sector.

Previously he was with Konami where he managed the European business for amusement machines.
