Dave and Buster’s, the North American dining and entertainment venue operator, said it is estimating that its first quarter revenues could top $222m.

In its preliminary financial results, it estimates that its total revenues for the quarter ending May 3 will range between $221.7m and $222.7m. This represents sales growth of 14.1 per cent over the same period in the previous fiscal year.

It estimated that its comparable store sales growth will range between 9.8 per cent to 9.9 per cent, while EBITDA is expected to be between $61.3 and $61.8m – 21 per cent up on the corresponding quarter last year.

The company, which recently opened three large-format stores in Texas, New York and Massachusetts, and a small-format location in Michigan, has signed 16 lease agreements for new store locations, two of which are under construction.  

It currently operates a total of 76 stores in the US and Canada.
