Premier League football club AFC Bournemouth has strengthened its ties to Las Vegas through a new partnership.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s ‘Visit Las Vegas’ slogan and logo will appear on the club’s training kit and the company is incorporating in-stadium exposure and matchday activations as part of the collaboration.

The multi-year deal with the LVCVA on the start of the team’s connection to the city in 2022.

Last year, 550,000 British visitors flocked to Las Vegas, the Premier League club said, as it looks to deepen its connection with the US’ gaming hub.

Steve Hill, president and CEO of the LVCVA, said the deal provides the company the opportunity to “expand our sports brand internationally.”

Bournemouth’s connection to Vegas started when the club received investment from Bill Foley, the owner of the Vegas Golden Knights.

Bournemouth’s president of business operations Jim Frevola added the partnership is “a great fit for both parties.”

“Our ownership having roots in Vegas, and with the city itself fast becoming an important sporting destination, this makes for a strong relationship.”
