Allied Games of Malta has won a licence to operate gaming machines in a West African country.

The company is currently unwilling to reveal which one but confirms that it will be permitted to run a casino, arcades or street gaming. It then plans to move into at least four other neighbouring West African countries.

Allied Games is run by the Camilleri family in Malta. Going back to West Africa will be something of ‘full circle’ for the company as it was Joe Camilleri of Camilmac Holdings who built up a major export business for casino machines into West Africa in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. His sons are now carrying on the tradition.
