Italian gaming company Cogetech has agreed a new contract with WMS Gaming for the supply of video lottery terminals - a first for the US-based manufacturer.

WMS’ VLTs will be introduced to the Italian market through Cogetech, which already has more than 40,000 AWPs in place in the market.

"We are proud and happy to be first in signing an agreement with WMS," said Fabio Schiavolin, chief executive officer of Cogetech. "The top performance WMS VLTs will enable us to offer top quality products and an extensive product range to our customers.

"We are convinced that our customers will certainly appreciate our choice. With this deal we enhance our portfolio of game contents to offer to our customers and partners in Italy to perform at state of the art locations."
Brian Gamache, chief executive officer of WMS Industries, said the company is making "great progress" in expanding its presence in international markets.

"By leveraging WMS’ innovative player appealing gaming content with Cogetech’s relationships and capabilities, we will optimise WMS’ ability to bring new gaming entertainment experiences to this market and create a path for further growth in international markets," he said.
