International Slot Machine Sales is to ramp up its marketing activities at several forthcoming trade shows in order to build upon its recent successes in Africa and Latin America.

Speaking to InterGaming, the company’s Sam Arnold explained that ISMS has seen significant growth in these areas as its regional offices develop strong relationships with local operators. The company either exhibits or attends the majority of gaming shows throughout the world and over the coming months it is aiming to make an even bigger impact.

"We’ve decided in the last month to increase our exposure at the trade shows to something a little bit more substantial to what we’ve being doing to date," Arnold said. "We’re going to exhibit this year in Spain at FER in Madrid, which is something we’ve never done before. Madrid is something new for us as we’ve never had a stand over there, so we’ll see what happens.

"We’ve been making a lot of sales into Africa and also a lot of our customers from South America and Central America are planning to attend the show in Spain. I guess the South Americans feel more comfortable going to a Spanish-speaking country. Because of this, we’ve decided to have a stand down there and have pre-arrangements with key clients from Africa, Europe and South and Central America during the three days of the show."

Over the coming months, ISMS will be moving from Madrid to SAGSE Buenos Aires, where it has doubled the size of its booth, and G2E Las Vegas, during which it will occupy a stand of some 80sq.m.

"Looking to Las Vegas, we have a large stand there and that stand will be represented by our sales staff from all of our international offices," said Arnold. "Our sales personnel will be in Las Vegas from New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, Latvia, Russia, UK, South Africa, US and Argentina. So we will have our full international key account managers there this year."

Visitors to ISMS’ booth will also have the opportunity to meet with representatives from its finance company, who will be discussing the various finance options available, including finance on equipment that is offered on lease or participation basis.  

Arnold added: "As our sales people will be in meetings with key clients its advisable that visitors to the show make pre-arranged meetings with them as there are only so many hours in the day."
