Casinos de Angola is to invest US$55m over the next three years to promote the gambling and entertainment industry in Angola.
The main purpose of the exercise is to bolster Angola’s image abroad. “We aim to position ourselves as the launching pad for tourism and contribute to a positive image of Angola abroad,” the company said. "Blessed by a warm all-year-round climate, cultural diversity and robust economic growth, Angola is in a strong position to clinch a piece of the global tourism market.
“The nation is rebuilding infrastructure to satisfy demand for the tourism sector. Our strong bet on the tourism industry is in line with the Angolan government’s strategy to promote the sector."
