Fournier, the Spanish manufacturer of casino playing cards, will present its new range of Dura+ table layouts during the course of IGE 2010.
Javier Berasategui, Fournier’s export director, expressed his excitement to unveil this new product at the show.
"We have been thoroughly working on this project for some time," he said. "We wanted to go to the market with the finest layouts. In order to get it we have spent plenty of time doing lots of research and tests.
"Today we are proud to say that our layouts are there at the top, offering an unbeatable durability, a velvet touch that satisfies both dealers and players and long lasting bright colours. Besides they are waterproof thanks to our Teflon finish and are fire retardant."
Berasategui also explained that before being launched internationally the layouts were tested in some Spanish casinos for almost a year.
He continued: "We wanted to have a real experience under real conditions, not only laboratory tests. The results were very satisfactory: both dealers and players were very much delighted with the nice touch and feel and the table managers were impressed with their durability."
In addition to table layouts, Fournier will also exhibit its widely acclaimed playing cards and Security Baccarat Shoe, a product aimed at increasing security at baccarat tables by reading the cards through a barcode and showing the results once the hand is finished.
