Astro Corp of Taiwan will be making an impact at G2E Las Vegas by showing no less than 64 slots on its 3,000sq.ft stand.

The company will be exhibiting for the third year in succession and showing product specifically targeted at Asia, the Americas and Europe. There will be 29 single and dual-screen video slot games, including Santa Claus, an engaging game boasting a host of features and secondary games.

Also on show will be five of Astro Corp’s own progressive jackpots with large screen displays. Two of these, Babylon Cash and Rise Higher, caused quite a stir when shown earlier this year at G2E Asia.

Simon Herbert, Astro Corp’s CEO international, said: “We’re extremely proud of these two new jackpot displays. Astro Corp has always been synonymous with state-of-the-art graphics, but our development teams have really excelled themselves.

“The animation and entertainment value of these products is at a level found in the latest feature length cartoons. This is digital media at its best.

“Our first two G2E Las Vegas expos were very good for Astro Corp and judging by the number of pre-exhibition enquiries, this trend seems set to continue,” he added.

Among the games on display will be The Detective, Golden Empire, War of Gods, ORC, Blackbeard, Arabian Legend, Knockdown and Shanghai Tan.

Continued Herbert: “With more than 300 people, our development team is one of the largest and most highly trained in the industry and this is reflected in the quality of our product. Our games have powerful themes based on history, legends and the modern world. Secondary games and bonus features draw the player into exciting virtual worlds; it’s great entertainment.

“G2E is a great showcase and we’re looking forward to meeting our customers from around the world.”
