Following the Russian government's decision to ban casinos in the country's major cities, a number of games manufacturers are turning to the kiosk markets, it has been claimed.
Virgil Pogaceanu, Play Star Europe’s technical manager, said that the kiosk market is huge in Russia and a great deal of his company’s bill validators are being bought by Russian companies for this purpose.
"Major Russian companies and manufacturers are becoming more and more involved in the kiosk business," he told InterGaming. "there is high demand and they have the available resources."
