Chinese gaming machine manufacturer Haiwei International is "still trying to globalise despite our international business being hit by the recession," said the company's Andy Zeng, who is vice manager of the international business department.

In fact, the company had doubled the size of its stand for this year’s G2E Asia.

“Our best international markets are South America and south-east Asia – in that order. However, we are enjoying an increased presence in Europe.” The company’s current best seller is its multiplayer roulette machine. “We have made some changes to the machine’s software to make it better than ever,” said Zeng.

Haiwei has new product due for launch next year and has also applied for GLI approval. “Once we get that approval we will be developing more games,” added Zeng. “We expect this to take about 18 months.”
